How much did you spend on a wedding planner / coordinator?

I am currently a student working on my MBA. For my final economics project, I am analyzing the wedding planning industry. If you got married in 2008 and hired a wedding planner, can you please email me the amount you spent on one? I just need a total, not an entire breakdown of cost. Thank you. It all depends on how much or how little you want them to do. My sister spent $600 on a coordinator for the day of and it was worth every dime to make sure she and other family members didn’t have to worry about anything on her special day. My sister enjoyed being a bride and I enjoyed being the matron of honor.
