What can I do with my valentine on the day as she is away in the evening?

My date for Valentines Day is on a college trip for Valentines weekend.
Instead we are gonna go out a day earlier. But it will be during the day.

- Cannot be at home
- Cannot be a big meal at restaurant

Can anyone suggest what we could do during the day that would be sweet and romantic?
