Honestly me and my man don’t celebrate Valentines. i’m a strong believer in not celebrating it with a man. So that way on years when I’ve been solo, I treat myself to a spa day and then maybe a couple drinks at a nice hotel bar. They are quiet and you can always meet interesting single people who are just passing through. They usually have a band there too on weekends, so this year maybe you can try that!

Having NEVER been a relationship, and never “had a Valentine” I kinda manage to ignore it. I mean, it’s a little depressing, but I go on with my daily routine, so its really not a huge deal.

Get your single girl friends and go out for the night. Or treat yourself to something special. Rent your favorite movie, order a pizza, eat ice cream, take a bubble bath, and relax at home. Just because it’s Valentines Day and you’re single doesn’t mean it has to be painful.

I’m 36 and single, from a male point of view it gets lonely. It is not bad though to this day I still wish I was seeing someone.
