Question by ineedhelp: Are affairs about deception of any kind, or just deception about sex only? And if they can be about anything other than sex, which is what a traditional affair is about, then what exactly constitutes an affair nowadays?

This is when they’re not getting physical, so they think it’s innocent, but the person is giving intimate understanding and confiding to someone other than the one person who they are SUPPOSED to share that closest of connections with.

Question by : How long do “just for sex” affairs usually last? My husband said his affair that lasted several years was just for sex. I was willing to please him but, he denied me for her. Not sure its over but werw working one reconciling.

My husband and I would like to go to marriage counseling to get some advice on how to improve our marriage and fix some of the problems that we are having. Does marriage counseling just involve talking about your issues with a non-partial third party or do they auctually help by giving advice on how to fix things?

I think it is sometimes hard to tell. Usually I find one person takes it the wrong way. I think flirting is fun & a stroke to the ego, even with a married person, and it means nothing, especially when you work with the person. However, usually one person takes it out of context, don’t you think? Then, it can be awkward for the person who flirts for no reason other than for harmless fun. How can you tell if a married person is innocently flirting for the wrong reasons or just for fun?

I have cheated on my girlfriend so many times in the past four years and that has led to a drastic tension between me and her. One day my mom asked why am I doing this and obviously the answer was I do not know, and real I don’t know. Why are we cheating?
