What if they never met in real, but act like it’s the real deal? The woman (going through a divorce) is married with 3 kids, the guy is single.
In regard to these “emotional affairs” that so many YA users or their spouses are going through?

Does anyone else think that Maybe, Just Maybe the person having the “emotional affair” is Actually Screwing the person they are having the “emotional affair” with and thinks that their spouse will never figure it out if they call it an “emotional affair”??? If you are going to have one of these types of affairs, that would mean you are just absolutely madly in Love with the person for who they are but won’t sleep with them? Why not?

Honest answers, not smart-a** ones. If you have had one or been dealing with a spouse that had one. How do you get the trust back. Is spyware on their computer necessary? No physical affairs, emotional only….over internet, telephone etc….. It was me, not him and yes we do want to work it out and we love each other very much. Tried counseling, didn’t work. Do women really get upset about emotional affairs?

I’ve heard about these emotional affairs that people have where a man and a woman become close to one another emotionally and share things that they wouldn’t with just friends. I’m not sure that this counts as an affair since there has been no sexual contact, (even if there may be sexual tension there) even if you don’t tell your wife about how close you are with this other person.
