i suggest real life dating, at least you see the girl / guy before you ask them out

It actually works and I think its much higher now than 8% with the introduction of social sites. It is all about an individual believe, what they want, how they handle it and most important observe the security rules

My 10th grade teacher met her husband online. They’re pretty happy. After the first date they already wanted in.

I’ve never seen it happen. But I know it works for women – well that would be obvious.

online dating is (usually) for people who are too ugly to date in real life.

I dont know where you read that, but I have to agree with it. I think online dating will continue to grow. Most of our jobs are requiring more and more time, which means its harder to go out and meet people the old fashioned way. With online dating, if the people are serious about it, gives each person an idea of what they are getting into.
For me, and a lot of my friends, we dont want to meet our future wife at a club. If we go home with a girl for the night, does she really expect us to call her? If you hook up with me when we first meet, i will have to think that this is not the first time she has done this. No guy wants to date a slut.
With online dating (especially the paying ones), its matches you. Seems like it does a lot of the work for you, (i.e do you want kids, do you smoke, etc). This way, you dont have to go on 10 dates and then find out something you dont like.
I think it will continue to grow.
Oh, even if you dont choose this answer, please select a “Best Answer”. Thanks.

It works probably in a small percentage of time. People are working long hours and do not have the time to find mates the conventional way. Just be safe there are plenty of sickos out there.

it’s true about the 8 percent thing-y. but mostly, or should i say, the rest of 92 percent means the other way around. my sister’s friend found a perfect guy via YM. he’s on a different country but he flew to our country just to meet her. when i saw them i thought “hey, maybe online dating’s good for some people after all..” but after months i’ve received news from my friend that they’ve broke up already. I think they’re a load of rubbish. On or offline, looking for love rarely works. You’ve just gotta get out there, find people that way – you’ll find you have just as much in common, maybe more – and the awkward getting to know each other phase won’t get in the way, it’ll have happened already.

Online dating is not fake or creepy, people seem to get confused most of the time.
Lets start with the facts:
1). You generally do not date online, you search for someone online through a dating or social networking site, then when you find one or some that you like you pop them a message. When
you want to go on a date then you tend to meet up in person.
Now thats out of the way
2). With the way peoples lifestyles are changing, getting busier, more work etc. Online dating as they call it is ever increasing, for some it works for some it doesnt. Want an example of a success story, me and my wife met online, liked each other, hit it off, then decided to go on a date in person, hit it off even more, married and still happily married 10 years later. Thats why we set up our own site to help people do the same.
3). If you do go this route, just be patient, prepare yourself, there are complete morons out there just like in real life, and be yourself, do not ever lie and you will find some one you can connect with.
Pop over our site if you want, we have guides, tips, forums, chat rooms and prize draws for our members and we are 100% free because love or friendship should not cost.
