It’s different for every woman. I personally don’t see it as a form of cheating, but then again I don’t care for porn and I really don’t see what people get out of it. Anyway it sounds to me like she just might be using this porn thing as an excuse.

Well its not exactly cheating but maybe by letting her know that you’re watching it it’s making her insecure like she doesn’t do enough to satisfy you. Maybe splitting up with you because you’re watching porn is a little over the top (i haven’t split up with my bf and he watches it all the time lol) but it probably made her feel bad especially if she isn’t a very confident person anyway. First of all… this question looks as though it is more venting frustration or anger rather than a true question. BUT, here goes. Some women can legitimately regard porn as cheating, yes. It is a debate that has gone on for quite some time on both sides of the argument. Insecurities can make up a large part of your girlfriend’s issues with it, though.
How one may regard porn as cheating may be because you are getting sexual fulfillment through a source that is not your girlfriend. She may feel jealousy towards the women you are viewing because of that, or possibly because she fears the women you watch are more physically appealing than her. She may fear it will diminish herself in your eyes. Cheating can be considered almost anything, and it is important in any relationship that the ‘terms’ of the relationship are clearly communicated. If you wish this relationship to last, then both sides must respect the others views and have a clear understanding of what is to be done, and not done. You may want to ask her what part of it, or why she considers it so offensive, and in turn explain why you feel it is not.

DUDE, since everyone is not alike and have different social backgrounds, i believe your girl has her beliefs that porn is cheating and you as her boyfriend should try to reason to her your side without being a dumbass. You should always consider your girl’s feelings. If it seems that she cant understand you then my advice is to end your relationship. Plain and simple. You cant stay in a relationship where the other one has doubts… Hope this helps.
